A Lubbock teen was behind bars Wednesday night, after authorities say he robbed a local cigarette shop.

NewsChannel 11 first showed you a surveillance picture on Monday. That's when Lubbock Police asked for you help to identify the suspect investigators say walked into Tobacco Express on West 19th Street and tried to steal a carton of cigarettes.

Authorities tell us that 17-year-old Nicholas Sharp turned himself in Tuesday afternoon. He's charged with robbery instead of theft because police say when a clerk confronted him about the stolen cigarettes, Sharp assaulted them.
