Five Injured in Collision - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Police tell NewsChannel 11 five people were injured when a Nissan Maxima and a Toyota Tacoma collided around 4pm Wednesday at 42nd and Indiana.

Officers on the scene say it appeared three teens were riding in the Nissan, and an elderly couple was in the Toyota. They suffered moderate injuries, along with two of teens.

Authorities say the third teen suffered serious injuries.

Investigators say that preliminary indications are that the Nissan failed to yield the right of way to the Toyota.
