Lubbock ISD Sets New Policy for Cell Phones at School - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Lubbock ISD has set a new policy regarding cell phones in school. In accordance with a decision by the state legislature, students are allowed to carry a cell phone, but they cannot take them out on campus.

If an LISD employee spots a student with their cell in hand, the phone will be confiscated. The student will then have to pay a fee of up to $15 to get it back. If students fail to pay, their cell phone will be disposed of.
