If you are watching your weight, fast food salads may not be the best choice.
A Taco Bell salad contains 850 calories and 52 grams of fat which is enough for two meals. Compare that to a small order of fries at McDonalds with 210 calories and 10 grams of fat. Dietitian Chelsea Fowler says, "If you're on a diet that's making you miserable because you really want some fries then order a kiddie size to curb your craving. And eat everything in moderation. I'm a firm believer of that."
A lot of restaurants are leaning towards trans-fat free oils. That's another thing to look for as well. Fowler also adds hold the mayo. That can cut your caloric intake on one fast food trip by almost half.
