Water Projects Prompt Closures of 33rd & 91st Streets - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Another section of 33rd Street will be blocked off next week for water main replacement. 

This time 33rd between Louisville and Indiana will be barricaded during the day. So, during construction hours that are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., you'll need to make sure you move your parked cars out of the way.

Work on that water line will continue from now through February 6th. If you are disabled and need special accommodations, please call Utility Contractors of America at 866-9380.

Construction on the South Lubbock Drainage Project begins Monday at 91st and Slide.

Construction will work its way west on 91st until it reaches 91st and Chicago. Portions of 91st Street will be detoured. The detours will basically move west with the construction.
