Construction crews have a busy week planed for the Hub City. Work starts Monday, January 26th on the South Lubbock drainage project at 91st and Slide Road. Crews will work their way west on 91st until they reach 91st and Chicago. That means portions of 91st Street will be detoured. Those detours will move west with the construction.
Also, those who live along 33rd street will see more construction Monday. Crews will barricade 33rd between Louisville and Indiana during the day for water main replacement. From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., residents need to move parked cars out of the way. Work on the line will continue from now through February 6th. If you are disabled and need special accommodations, please call Utility Contractors of America at (806)866-9380.
