Taxi Thief Indicted For Aggravated Robbery - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A 43-year-old man stands indicted for aggravated robbery, after authorities stay he robbed a cabbie of his car at gunpoint. 

Police reports state Stephen Taylor called for a taxi back in December of 2008. He had the driver pull into a Diamond Shamrock on southeast Loop 289, pulled a gun and demanded cash. The driver jumped out of the vehicle, and authorities say Taylor sped of with the taxi and approximately $120.

Police arrested Taylor a short time later as he was walking along Interstate 27.
