Good News For Potential TTU Flagship Status

There is great news for those of you hoping Texas Tech can get flagship or "tier-one" status like the University of Texas, and Texas A&M.

Lubbock State Senator Robert Duncan was re-assigned to the Senate Committee on Higher Education.   In addition, Duncan is a member of the Natural Resources and Jurisprudence committees. He'll also be the chairman of the Senate Committee on State Affairs.

Duncan has been trying to achieve this status for Texas Tech for some time.
