A 22-year-old Lubbock woman is headed to prison after pleading guilty to intoxicated manslaughter. The Lubbock Avalanche Journal reports that Rochelle Ranson made the plea Friday.  Police arrested Ranson in May of 2008 about 20-minutes after they say she hit and killed 55-year-old Monte Wampler. Authorities say his motorcycle became wedged underneath her car.

Ranson then backed up and fled the scene. Police say she then hit another person, running over the victim's legs. The paper says Ranson also pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated assault. She received 15-years for each count, but will serve them concurrently.
