Man Gets 40 Years for Christmas Day Murder

It began with a dispute over music at a Christmas party last December and ended with the stabbing death of 22-year-old Jerome Richardson of Levelland. Now, his killer is going to prison.

Levelland Police say that 22-year-old Justin Corpus stabbed Richardson once through the heart, two days before Christmas. A jury found Corpus guilty of murder, and on Tuesday, they sentenced him to 40 years in prison. He will not be eligible for parole for at least 20 years.
