Lubbock's brand new medical examiner, Dr. Sridhar Natarajan survived the first official challenge to his credibility since taking the job. Natarajan testified Friday in the Michael Stocker capital trial in Amarillo.

Stocker is accused of killing Dustin Pool. For three months during 2008, Natarajan allowed his medical license to become delinquent for non-payment. Natarajan has since paid his dues. When Stocker's attorney raised the issue, the judge basically said it didn't matter.
