SPARTAN Hosts Open Candidate Forum

On Monday, all local candidates running in contested races had the opportunity to speak in an open forum. It was hosted by the South Plains Area Residents Taxpayers Action Network, or S.P.A.R.T.A.N. each candidate had a chance to express themselves, and their plans if elected.

S.P.A.R.T.A.N. Chairperson Mikel Ward this is the perfect environment for the voters to meet the people running for public office. "It's just really important for people who may not have the opportunity to get to meet candidates to come and be able to ask them questions."

S.P.A.R.T.A.N. is a non-partisan group of taxpayers, whose primary interest is efficiency and fiscal responsibility. All S.P.A.R.T.A.N. meetings are open to the public.
