Lubbock City Manager Becomes Finalist for Dallas County Administrator

NewsChannel11 has learned that Lubbock city manager, LeeAnn Dumbauld, is one of ten finalists for the job of Dallas County Administrator.

Dumbauld came to Lubbock in 2004 as the Chief Financial Officer. She replaced Lou Fox as City Manager in September 2005. If she is chosen for the Dallas job, Dumbauld would replace retiring Dallas County administrator Allen Clemson.

Dumbauld's September 2005 severance agreement specifically says she can leave at any time with no penalty. The only penalty in the agreement is that the city owes her six months of severance, if she were to be fired without cause.
