Heart 2 Heart Health Fair educates Lubbockites

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - To keep you heart healthy this Valentines Day the Lubbock Heart Hospital and the Lubbock Health Department joined together for the Third Annual Heart 2 Heart Health Fair. They set up more than 40 booths at the South Plains Mall for testing and information trying to promote good heart health.

"The Heart Hospital has cholesterol and glucose checks. We also will check your blood levels and your sugars. We have blood pressure checks. We have PFT testing which checks your lung capacity in your respiratory department," said Stephanie Watson with Lubbock Heart Hospital. 

The Lubbock Heart Hospital holds several health fairs throughout the year.  Their next event is at Preston Smith Elementary on Thursday, February 19th from 5 p.m. till 7 p.m. They will offer free health screenings and education.
