LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - One victim of a double stabbing in Lubbock last week is well enough to get out of the hospital.
Police say Roberto Mata stabbed 46-year-old Susan Perez, and 33-year-old Jacob Mojica at a house near 42nd and Chicago. While Perez has been released from the hospital, Mojica remains at University Medical Center.
The suspect, meanwhile, remains behind bars in Terry County. Police arrested Mata Friday night in Brownfield. He is being held on a $500,000 bond charged with burglary of a habitation with intent to commit aggravated assault.
