SHALLOWATER, TX (KCBD) - NewsChannel 11 learned new information Tuesday on a story we brought you last week, which is the discovery of mold at Shallowater middle school.
Only two classrooms in the basement are sealed off. Officials tell NewsChannel 11 that carpets and wall boards got wet during construction over the summer, and are now creating problems. School officials say it will take two weeks to clean up.
They also say they do not know if it's black mold, but the district has hired consultants to look into it.
