LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - He's wanted for wire theft, and now Lubbock law enforcement needs your help to bring a Most Wanted suspect to justice. Authorities are looking for 41-year-old Tony Gibbs Sr. Gibbs.
Gibbs is charged with theft between $1,500 and $20,000. Lubbock Police say he stole copper wire from an LP&L sub-station near Municipal Drive and I-27 back on February 7th.
Investigators tell NewsChannel 11 that Gibbs could be linked to several more copper wire thefts in the area. We looked into his record with Lubbock County and found charges of theft, evading, and drugs dating all the way back to 1996.
