Bundling up when it is chilly outside to prevent colds may just be myth

You can still get sick even if you bundle up when you go out in the cold because colds and flu are both viruses. So, the weather doesn't really matter. But the experts at Purdue University add that there is a way to help the whole family fight off illness during flu season. And that's by keeping your body and the air around you hydrated.

They say if people would just turn on a humidifier in the home, we could all get an extra boost in warding off sickness. Because when the body is dehydrated, it doesn't work as well at keeping healthy.
