Alan Jackson tickets go on sale Saturday

Thanks in part to a poll by NewsChannel 11 viewers, country music star Alan Jackson will come to Lubbock. Back in July we asked you to vote at KCBD.com on this question:  "Who would you most likely go see if they came to Lubbock?"

The top vote getter was Alan Jackson with 19.8% of the votes.  Tom Petty and Dave Matthews came in 2nd and 3rd.

The Lubbock-based Llano Estacado Music Company saw the results of that poll at KCBD.com and decided they wanted to get Alan Jackson to Lubbock.  Now, after months of hard work by Llano Estacado, we can confirm that Alan Jackson is scheduled to play May 14th at the United Spirit Arena.

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale Saturday February 21st at all Select-A-Seat locations.  Presenting sponsors are 99.5 The Bear, G. Boren Services, and NewsChannel 11.

By the way, Llano Estacado Music is the same company that brought Willie Nelson, Pat Green & Mike Pritchard to Lubbock last year for a concert.
