LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock Federal Grand Jury has indicted a former Post prison guard for receiving a bribe by a public official.
Authorities say 21-year-old Gregory Stace Norman smuggled drugs into the Giles Dalby Unit in Post several times. Agents set up an exchange with Norman. Investigators say he agreed to smuggle cocaine and methamphetamine into the prison for a cost of $1,000.
A special agent with the Department of Justice says an informant first told them about Norman's actions back in January. He is expected in court Monday.
