Antiques show offers unique buys for Lubbockites

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Continental Antique Shows sets up for their 45th year in the Hub City. This year the show features items from all over the country. The show will have estate jewelry, perfume bottles, furniture, books, prints, rugs, and lots more. Some of these antiques date all the way back to the 1600's.

"Antiques are fun. Usually there's a connection with something that they grew up with, and as far as investments, some of them are good investments because they don't depend on the stock market," said Ladeane Massey who is an antique dealer.

An appraiser from the Antique Road Show will be on site all weekend. Sunday's show hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Civic Center.
