Play Village Almost Finished Despite Rain - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The rain over the past week did not stop Legacy Play Village volunteers from getting the job done. On Monday kids got a chance to test out the playground, but it won't open to the public until the end of November. Organizers say they still have to put a few finishing touches on it.

The 23,000 square foot facility at Spur 327 and the Brownfield Highway is now one of the three largest community built playgrounds in the country, and it ranks number one in detail.
