UBS launches new incentive program for blood donors

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Are you a bronze, silver, or gold donor?  That is part of a new point system offered by United Blood Services to encourage donors to commit to giving blood three times this year. 

In our segment HealthWise at 5 Thursday, Les Long explained this new incentive program that starts at home on your computer, by clicking here. Les said if you do not have a computer, they will let you use the one at United Blood Services. 

If occasional donors commit to giving blood three times a year, that could add about 5,000 units to our local blood supply.
