LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Plainview Christian Wins TAPPS 1A State Title In their third trip to the TAPPS 1A state title game, the Plainview Christian Lady Eagles beat Aransas Pass Highland Avenue 62-59 to win the championship. The Lady Eagles were led by Beckah Sisemore with 16 points, followed by Kamber Hayes adding in 14.
Shallowater Falls to Bowie The Shallowater Fillies bid for another trip to the UIL state playoffs in Austin fell short at the hands of Bowie, 83-63. No. 2 came out of the gate on a 23-4 first quarter lead. The loss ends the Fillies season at 31-4.
Sudan Returns to State Semifinals The third ranked Sudan Hornettes are making a trip back to the Class 1A state tournament beating No. 1 Canadian 70-57 at the Texan Dome in Levelland.
