Plainview Christian Wins TAPPS State Title

The Plainview Christian Lady Eagles proved the third times a charm as they won the Tapps 1A State Championship Saturday beating Aransas Pass Highland Ave 62-59.

In the last 3 years, Coach Andra French had taken Plainview Christian twice before to the Tapps State Title game, only to come up short.

Monday the school held a Championship Pep rally to honor not only the girls basketball team, but the Eagles boys squad that made it to the State Semifinals for the first time ever.

Plainview's Mayor proclaimed the Month of March as Plainview Christian Month to future honor the school's basketball accomplishments.

Congrats to Plainview Christian!
