Alcohol proposition gets boost from Lubbock County political action committee - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX - (KCBD) The push to legalize alcohol sales in Lubbock County is getting a boost.

The political action committee Lubbock County Wins filed its intent with the Lubbock County Elections Office to support the alcohol proposition.

Treasurer and chairwoman of the organization, Melissa Pierce tells NewsChannel 11 they are putting the final touches on the group. Pierce says they are excited about making an official announcement soon.

Lubbock County voters will make their decision on May 9th.
