LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - NewsChannel 11 found some little ones making cool gifts for other kids who are in the hospital. It was an assignment at Trinity Christian Schools, that could be a good prescription for many sick children in this area.
Tammi Lafuente, a kindergarten teacher at Trinity Christian School, says, "The kids are working on stuffing bears that they have traced and cut out in fabric to take to kids at UMC, to sick children". Helping sick children at UMC may be on the minds of many kids right now, since the KLLL Radiothon finished this weekend, raising money for the Children's Miracle Network.
The weekend broadcast for that effort runs on NewsChannel 11 in June.
