Many homes without water because of damaged water main

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Approximately 70 Lubbock homes are without water, and many others have low water pressure due to a damaged water main. City crews are working to get it fixed.

In a written statement the city says one of two valves in a 24 inch water main was not installed properly and damaged the water main. So, city crews dug it up to make repairs Thursday.

At last check water pressure was low, but not dangerously low. We'll bring you any new developments.
