Overnight fire deemed suspicious

LUBBOCK, TX. (KCBD) - An overnight fire destroyed a Southwest Lubbock home, and authorities now say the fire is suspicious.

Garett Nelson with the Lubbock Fire Marshal's Office says it was a vacant building at the time of the fire. The blaze broke out at 90th and Alcove, just outside of Wolfforth, around 2:30 Thursday morning. He says the house had no utilities and that there are no witnesses or suspects at this time.

If you know anything about this fire you are asked to call the Fire Marshal's Office at 775-2646.
