LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Texas Tech board of regents has approved a 9.9 percent cap on next year's tuition and fees.
For the average 15-credit semester, university officials say students can expect to pay no more than $3,892 which would be a maximum increase of $350. It is still possible that the increase might be less than 9.9 percent. Or, the regents could later decide not to have any increase at all. A decision will be made later after Tech officials get more information about state funding for higher education.
