Fatal car accident near Roswell - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

CLOVIS, NM (KFDA) - Six people are dead, including a Clovis woman, following a car accident in Roswell.

The accident happened Friday on U.S. 70 in Roswell when a family van and a car collided head on. The New Mexico State Police say the van, registered out of Huntsville, was carrying a family of four and their grandparents.  The grandfather is the lone survivor from that vehicle.

The car was carrying 18-year-old Elaina Hita of Clovis, who was killed, and 22-year-old Luis Navarro of Clovis who is in stable condition at a Lubbock hospital.
