Crime Line tip leads to arrest of aggravated assault suspect - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK (KCBD) - A Lubbock woman remains in critical condition Monday, after an early morning arrest that landed the victim's boyfriend behind bars.

Calvin Ross, 19, is charged with aggravated assault. Authorities say he severely beat his girlfriend last week. 

Friends of the victim took her to Covenant Medical Center. At last report she was unconscious, and on a ventilator. 

Lubbock police say a tip to Crime Line lead to Ross' arrest around 9:45 a.m. Monday in the 2900 block of Vicksburg.
