FBI investigation into owner of Plainview peanut plant - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX. (KCBD) - The owners of the Plainview Peanut Plant admit they're under criminal investigation by the FBI. Peanut Corporation of America officials did so in bankruptcy records. They also say they have set aside 100,000 dollars for criminal defense, according to those documents.

Another company, The Palmer Candy Company in Iowa, announced the recall of its peanut clusters which are linked specifically to the Plainview facility. Between the two PCA plants - in Plainview and in Georgia - more than 3,000 products have been recalled.
