Red Raiders come back to stun A&M, 88-83

With their season on the line, the Red Raiders rallied from 22 points down to stun Texas A&M 88-83 at the Big 12 Championships in Oklahoma City. Tech came out slow, missing their first 10 shots, falling behind 15-2. The margin ballooned to 19 at the half and the Aggies stretched it to 22 in the 2nd half.

But Tech showed incredible heart and never gave up. Red Raider Mike Singletary put the Red Raiders on his back, scoring 35 of his 43 points in the 2nd half. At 1 point he scored 31 of 33 points the Red Raiders scored.

Singletary's 43 points is the single greatest game by a player in the Big 12 Championships. Had Tech lost, their season would have ended. Now they have a date with 3rd seeded Missouri Thursday night at 8:30. The Red Raiders, now 14-18, need to win the Big 12 Championship to get into the NCAA Tournament!!
