Estacado needs overtime, advances to play for title

LUBBOCK (KCBD) - Looking to Advance to Saturday's 3A State Championship, the 2nd ranked Estacado Matadors had to work overtime to knock off #11 Hardin-Jefferson 77-73 .

Estacado trailed by 10 in the 2nd quarter but the Matadors stepped things up in the third to pull even and force overtime. In the extra session, Kevin Wagner and company did enough to come out with the semifinal win. The 34-2 Matadors advance to Saturday's State Championship at 10:00 a.m.

NewsChannel 11 is in Austin and will have complete Hoop Madness Coverage tonight at 6 and 10.
