LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -Temperatures will be cooler across most of the viewing area Monday.
We can thank another cold front for bringing the temperature drop tonight and Monday.
A few showers are possible across the Panhandle, but the South Plains should remain dry tonight. Low temperatures drop into the 30’s and 40’s across the entire area.
Skies should remain mostly clear, but a few clouds are possible this evening, especially north of Lubbock.
Mostly sunny skies are in the forecast Monday. High temperatures remain in the upper 60’s and lower 70’s Monday afternoon. Winds become east at 10 to 15 mph.
Areas of patchy fog will be possible Sunday night and again Monday night.
A slim chance of showers and thunderstorms will exist Wednesday and Thursday as the dryline sharpens across West Texas.
The best chance of storms will likely remain east of Lubbock this time around.
Look for colder temperatures across the viewing area this coming weekend.
