Scattered clouds are in the forecast Friday night with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the forecast. Rain coverage should taper off by midnight. Low temperatures fall into the lower 30’s for the Lubbock area.
Gusty north winds and colder temperatures are expected tonight and Saturday with highs in the 40’s and lower 50’s. North winds average 20 to 30 mph with higher gusts possible.
Partly to mostly cloudy skies are in the forecast Sunday with a secondary surge of colder air expected Saturday night.
High temperatures hold in the 30’s and lower 40’s Sunday with a slight chance of a wintry mix in the forecast.
