LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - For the third straight game, the Texas Tech Lady Raiders fought hard but came up short in the end, as they fall to Kansas State by a final of 66-62.
Texas Tech trailed Kansas State 33-24 at the half, but Coach Stollings' squad would score 21 points in the third to give them a 45-41 lead.
Kansas State tallied 25 points in the fourth to take a lead that they never gave up.
Texas Tech shot 38.5 percent from the field and would out-rebound the Wildcats by six.
Brittany Brewer picked up another double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds.
Chrislyn Carr had 14 points, while Erin DeGrate had 11.
Up next for the Lady Raiders, they will head to Morgantown to face West Virginia on Wednesday.
