LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - One person was injured in a crash late Thursday night after a vehicle crashed into a home near 32nd Street and Quaker Avenue.
Multiple police units responded to the scene after 11:30 p.m. Thursday after it was reported a Hummer crashed into a home in the 4400 block of 32nd Street, according to Lubbock police. The driver of the vehicle, a 48-year-old woman, was said to be traveling south and veered off the roadway.
The woman’s Hummer damaged both the home and a tree. She was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. None of the people inside the home were injured.
Investigators with the Lubbock Police Department continue to investigate this crash, but at the time it is not know why the vehicle crashed. KCBD NewsChannel 11 will update this story when more information becomes available.
