LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Red Raider baseball team picked up their sixth straight win – taking down New Mexico State in a midweek game by a final of 7-0.
Bryce Bonnin picked up the win and was much improved on the mound, as he tossed six-innings giving up zero runs.
The Red Raiders had a successful day at the plate as well, sending 36 batters to the plate and getting a total of 12 hits.
With the win, No. 3 Texas Tech improves to 6-1 on the season.
Up next, they will hit the road for the first time and play in the Frisco College Baseball Classic.
The classic starts up on March 1, when the Red Raiders take on Nebraska – first pitch is slated for 7 p.m.
