LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - 23-year-old Broderick Stevenson was indicted by a Lubbock Grand Jury on Tuesday, charged with arson.
The incident happened back in July of 2017.
The police reports says Stevenson was caught on video buying gasoline from a 7-Eleven that was traced back to a vehicle fire in the 2600 block of East Auburn.
The call came in at 5:30 a.m. on July 10, 2017, while the victim and his family were sleeping.
The indictment says Stevenson set the fire to deliberately destroy the vehicle.
Stevenson remains behind bars while facing a variety of other charges, including multiple counts of burglary of a habitation, evading arrest, and drug possession.
His bonds total $358,500.
