Gun goes off after Central Lubbock fight, no serious injuries reported

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Just before 11 a.m. Thursday the Lubbock Police were called to the 2300 block of 51st Street after a disturbance was reported in the area.

Police arrived to find one man was injured in a fight. After an initial investigation, police found a gun went off during the fight. The gun going off does not seem to be intentional.

No one was injured from the gunshot but one man was taken to a local hospital with moderate injuries, stemming from the fight.

The suspect involved in this incident has not been found.
