WANTED WEDNESDAY: LPD searching for suspects in commercial burglary, hit & run

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock police are asking for public help in locating two suspects.

The first is 51-year-old Rodney Kennedy, wanted in connection to several commercial burglaries.

It's time for a #WantedWednesday and this week we have TWO! First, a suspect wanted for commercial burglary, Rodney Kennedy age 51. Investigators believe Kennedy is linked to many burglaries around town. We need your help in locating him. Next up we have case #19-12112. While the damage was not extensive, it still cost the business money to fix the damage and we need your help identifying the driver. If you have any information regarding either case, please contact Crime Line at 741-1000. You can remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward!

There is a $1,000 reward offered for information that leads to his arrest.

Next, police are asking for help identifying the suspect in a hit and run crash that happened at 11:10 p.m. on Thursday, March 28 in the parking lot of Wendy’s at 5721 4th Street.

According to LPD, after running over the landscaping rocks in the parking lot, the driver exits his vehicle to inspect what he ran over and leaves the scene.
