LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast tonight across the South Plains. A sprinkle or two will be possible this evening, but most areas remain dry.
It will be cool this evening with temperatures falling into the middle 50’s by 9:00 p.m. Winds taper off this evening.
It will cold Friday morning with lows in the upper 30’s to lower 40’s. Skies become clear overnight.
Friday should be sunny and nice with highs in the lower to middle 70’s across the viewing area. North winds average 10 to 15 mph.
Saturday will be a warm day across West Texas with temperatures climbing into the middle and upper 80’s across the viewing area. Southerly winds become gusty at 15 to 25 mph.
Easter Sunday is currently looking dry and very warm. Easter Sunday sunrise is at 7:11 a.m. Daytime highs soar into the upper 80’s with a few locations possibly as warm as the lower to middle 90’s off the Caprock.
We could see a few storms Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
