LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Just days after closing out their spring practices, the Red Raider football program added two grad-transfers to bolster their 2019-20 roster.

Just after one o'clock, Texas Tech football announced on Twitter that they signed running back Armand Shyne to an athletic scholarship agreement.

Shyne runs his way to Lubbock after playing three seasons at Utah, where he recorded 512 rushing yards and five touchdowns, last season.

The former Utah running back comes to Texas Tech with one year of eligibility remaining, starting with the 2019 season.

Three hours after Shyne’s announcement, the Red Raiders announced the addition of linebacker Evan Rambo.

Rambo is the third graduate transfer to sign with the Red Raiders this week and is coming to Lubbock after earning his degree from Cal-Berkeley.

If the NCAA grants Rambo an extension, he will have two years of eligibility with the Red Raiders.

During his career at Cal, Rambo was battling some injuries but played in 27 games, recording 34 tackles and a pair of sacks.
