Texas Tech baseball flexes muscles in series finale

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - After two games that ended with a team winning by one run, the Red Raiders ended their series with Baylor with a bang.

Tech scored nine runs in the first two innings and never looked back, defeating Baylor 13-3 in seven innings.

The run-rule victory gave the Red Raiders the series win over the Bears.

Caleb Kilian was solid on the bump, tossing six innings, giving up eight hits and striking out five batters.

With the win, Texas Tech improves to 25-13 on the season and are 8-7 in Big 12 Conference play.
