WACO, TX (KCBD) - Texas Tech speedster Divine Oduduru became the first Red Raider to go sub-ten on the 100-meter dash Saturday evening in Waco.
With next to no wind, Oduduru ran the fastest time in the world for this year at 9.95. That beat his personal best by over a tenth of a second.
45 minutes after running the world lead in the 100-meter, Oduduru went on to set another world lead but this time in the 200-meter.
Oduduru went for an impressive 19.76 in the 200-meter, the second fastest time ever by a collegiate runner.
