LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Last Thursday Jarrett Culver announced he was entering the NBA Draft and forgoing his final two seasons at Texas Tech. He knows it was the right decision to make.
“I just prayed about it a lot with my family. We talked and discussed and we felt like it was the best decision for me to enter the Draft. I just have to find an agent now and just get to work.”
To play in the NBA, it’s something the Coronado graduate dreamed of at a young age.
“It’s been since a kid, ever since I touched a basketball. It’s always been a dream of mine and God led me to have an opportunity like this”
Culver is in the Top 10 of every NBA Mock Draft and wherever he goes, he will be representing the 806 proudly.
“Yeah, this is home. This will always be home. Lubbock has done so much for me. They supported me through my ups and my downs. Everything I do, Lubbock is going to be part of it.”
