LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Like many players, Justin Stockton was left holding the bag when the Alliance of American Football abruptly disbanded a few weeks ago.
The former Red Raider had a decent season for the Arizona Hotshots during their eight game run. Stockton rushed for 233 yards and one touchdown on 43 attempts.
He made some flashy plays and even leaped over a Memphis defender for his lone touchdown.
On Wednesday evening, the running back made it official on Twitter that he will play for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, next season.
The Tiger-Cats have a proud tradition of gridiron greatness in the Canadian Football League, winning a total of eight Grey Cups in their history.
