LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A six-run third inning lifted the 15th-ranked Red Raiders past No. 16 Oklahoma State 12-4 Friday night at Rip Griffin park.

The Big 12-leading Cowboys entered the night with a two-game lead on the Red Raiders in the standings and now it’s down to just one game as Texas Tech moved to 19-4 at home this season.

Cole Stillwell led the way with three RBI.

Micah Dallas pitched 5.1 innings allowing 9 hits and four runs with 8 strikeouts.

Texas Tech moves to 27-13 overall and 9-7 in conference.

They look to pull even with the Cowboys in the Conference Standings Saturday night when the two teams play at 7:30 p.m. at Rip Griffin Park.
